@marymacstearoom is a 75-year Atlanta institution and for us, a neighborhood restaurant. Tourists would routinely go slack-jawed seeing the Carters casually having lunch there on a random Tuesday. It was a favorite of the president’s and conveniently close to the Carter Center.

@andjulietbway is at @thefoxtheatre through Sunday! Flipping the script on the Bard’s classic play, it’s a story of female empowerment, breaking free, nonbinary love, cleverly positioned 90s pop songs with a ridiculously talented cast and LOTS of confetti. It feels like a musical tailor-made for these times. Also, I love that the ensemble slowly wanders out on stage so Atlanta’s notoriously tardy audiences feel a teensy bit self-conscious coming in late. 😙

We celebrated Mr. Charlie Brown’s 75th birthday by selling out of his memoir “Bitch of the South,” the inaugural release by @ardmoreavenuepublishing. Charlie’s Backstreet castmates gathered to perform some of their biggest numbers in honor of our friend on “Mr. Charlie Brown Day” in the city of Atlanta.
