Atlanta, January 12, 2016 — Atlanta marketing and promotions strategist Will Gara has been appointed to oversee the advertising and marketing operations for Eldredge ATL, Atlanta’s newest arts and entertainment daily digital magazine.
“I’m thrilled that Will is coming on board to run the advertising and marketing side of Eldredge ATL,” says Eldredge ATL editor-in-chief/founder Rich Eldredge. “Will has a deep knowledge of this city and has worked with practically everyone in it over the years. Most recently, Gara worked at B98.5 (WSB-FM) and was a part of Atlanta’s Cox Radio family for nearly 20 years. He started his Atlanta radio career at Cox Media Group as Promotions Director before moving in to the Programming Department as Executive Producer for “The Kelly & Alpha Morning Show” and later, “The Steve & Vikki Morning Show.” Prior to moving to Atlanta, Gara was an advertising sales representative for media outlets in Hartford, Connecticut.
“I have known Rich Eldredge and enjoyed his work at the Atlanta Journal Constitution and Atlanta Magazine over the years,” says Gara. “In 2015, Rich saw an opportunity to cover stories that aren’t being told in Atlanta’s ever-constricting mainstream media and I’m excited to be a part of it. Gara begins his Eldredge ATL duties on Jan. 13. He starts as the fledgling four-month-old digital magazine is celebrating its best readership numbers to date. For the week of January 3 to 9, 2016, Eldredge ATL garnered nearly 49,500 pages viewed and hosted over 40,000 unique readers on the site. Since its August 24, 2015 debut, Eldredge ATL has attracted over 65,000 page views and nearly 50,000 unique visitors.
